Nick Martin "Il" is the Scandinavian light, more precisely the Swedish light, the one from the dawn and dusk, enlightened with genius by the greatest Swedish cinematographers, the one where the virginal beauty drapes the world with its strength and naivety. Nick Martin is sculpting for us that such intense and pure light which pierces us like a divine echo. Nick Martin is the relay of this metaphysics through these 7 songs that make up his first album. Those immense soundscapes, composed in an organic and fusion way with a Buchla Music Easel, are reproduced with talent. Here the intimate mingles with the universal and the personal and tells the same story, the one of the childhood of the world as a parable of man's childhood. Because this is related to his new relationship with fatherhood and all those emotions that he is experiencing that this is a question of. Nick Martin pierces our hearts like immense glaciers cut the ocean and takes us with him in this ancestral upheaval.
